Ayushman Bharat
Ayushman Bharat, also known as the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), is a flagship healthcare scheme launched by the Government of India. It was launched in September 2018 with the aim of providing health insurance coverage to vulnerable and economically disadvantaged families across the country.
Application Process
Eligible beneficiaries are identified based on the Socio-Economic and Caste Census (SECC) data or other specified criteria. Priority is given to economically weaker sections (EWS), scheduled castes (SC), scheduled tribes (ST), and other vulnerable groups.
