Kuruva Island is 17 km east of Mananthavady and 10 km north west of Pulpally, nearby towns in Wayanad District. One can take a bus to Pulpally from Sulthan Bathery. Sultan Bathery is 25 km away.

Air : The nearest airport is Karipur Airport, 129 kms away from Mananthavady. The airport is connected to many cities in India including Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai and Airline services are available from Karipur to many gulf countries. 

Rail :The nearest railway station is located at a distance of 106 kilometers at Kozhikode.

Best Time To Visit

 

The island is open to visitors from October to May, remains closed during peak rainy season that is from June to September. The best time to visit Kuruva Dweep is from mid-December to late April.
